Introducing My 2nd New pattern: Apcross!

Hello and welcome back to thetirelesstangler.com where we don’t sleep, we just continually draw, tangle, and write without cease! I’m very excited to release the step out of my deconstructed pattern, Apcross! Apcross is the grid version of Apcorg. You can certainly do Apcorg in a grid as is, but I found the sheer number of orbs (or pearls) gets to be a mess once it’s done. So when developing Apcorg I discovered  a grid version that looks so pretty,  I became certain it would be more popular than Apcorg. 😃😉 Of course, I am not at all certain it will catch on either!

This is a temporary step out until I get a yes or no from TanglePatterns.com and pattern-collections.com, where I have recently submitted (and resubmitted) them. Thanks go to Terri Delaune, CZT, for her insights into how to prepare a pattern for submission, as well as her specific thoughts on Apcorg, Apcross and the border version I named Apcream.  According to Terri, Apcross is a meta-pattern. My Zentangle®️ Primer explains a meta-pattern- “You don’t intentionally draw meta-patterns. They just appear as you draw different tangles or parts of tangles next to each other.” This is exactly what happened with Apcross! It needs it’s own step out so it got it’s own name.

And so, without further ado, here is Apcross!

Please feel free to contact me if you se it! I’d love to publish your art in the Apcorg gallery!

Here are a few examples  of Apcross!
