This week’s Diva Challenge was to use another monotangle (a word that was coined by the Diva herself!), meaning a tile using only one tangle. I love these weeks because it is so relaxing to get lost in the drawing and not worry about fitting it with another tangle or string. This week the diva chose the Zentangle ® original tangle, Striping. The fun for this tangle is an interesting string to give the simple pattern a complex look.
Here’s my finished tile.
I like your shining tile!!!

Thank you very much! I think it is much easier with just one tangle!

I love how you used only half the tile! Terrific composition!💜

Thanks Deanne, I’m working on leaving some negative space in my tiles and it’s hard because I like to fill it all up! So when this tile whispered it was finished, I stopped!

Very cool. Great movement. I feel like I could pick up the “pieces” from this tile, but they would unravel. Nice.

Very nice tile. I don’t know why but it reminds me of seashells. 🙂
